On the JST Statistics page you will be able to see a range of information related to how your search page is being used by your researchers.
Select date range
You can select the date range for the statistics by clicking on the date and selecting from the calendar or typing directly into the box. You can also use the arrows to move between date periods.
There is also the option to select date periods of 3 months, 6 months, year to date and 1 year by pressing the corresponding buttons:
3M - 3 Months
6M - 6 Months
YTD - Year to date
1Y - One year
Total Account activity
The Activity chart at the top of the page shows the searches and clicks per day during the dates selected. It can be set to show Daily, Weekly or Monthly. The chart can also be shown in a table view format on the webpage as well as being downloaded as a TSV.
Statistics available
There are a number of different statistics available, these are:
Searches: This chart shows the top 10 searches with average number of results. The TSV download includes all search terms.
No results: This chart shows top 10 search terms that did not return any results. Can show gaps in content or misspelled searches.
Filters: This chart shows the usage of search filters to see how researchers refine their searches
Clicks: This chart shows the number of clicks on links based on the column (Journal, Payment Option, Licence Option, Publishing Model). This shows which fields are used the most by researchers to explore the results.
Agreements: This chart shows top 10 publisher agreements ranked by total clicks and the number of unique journals accessed. The TSV export includes all agreements.
Journals: This chart shows a detailed breakdown of journal clicks by agreement, showing which specific journals were accessed and how frequently.
For all statistics you can view them as a chart, table view or download them in a TSV format.
Downloading your statistics
You can download the statistics for each type of statistic by clicking on the statistic tab you wish to download and then clicking 'Download'. This will then download the results from that page within the date range selected.
