How we meet WCAG 2.2 Criteria
The Journal Search Tool on the web browser is compliant to WCAG 2.2 Level A and meets >95% for WCAG 2.2 Level AA with all criteria being supported except two criteria which are partially supported (see below for further information).
-
1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus (Level AA 2.1 and 2.2) Hoverable content is both hoverable and persistent. It cannot be dismissed without moving pointer hover or keyboard focus. If implemented this would cause the content to no longer be hoverable or persistent
-
3.1.2 Language of Parts (Level AA) The webpage language is set to English. Journals cannot be set as language of parts as these are outside of SciFree control as are uploaded by universities. If the text written by universities in the information box is written in another language this may not be marked as correct language

Public Search Page colours
The colours you choose for your Public Search page should enable the text to have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for smaller text and 3:1 for larger text.
You can check the contrast ratio by using an online tool such as the WebAim contrast checker tool.
See the Brand Identity and Colours guide for how to amend the colours within your tool.

In the Branding page you can change the alt-text for your university logo in the Tag field. The default alt-text is set to "(university name) Logo"
